[TPSIN] [HS]Photo Retauch, Portrait Recover

Photo Retauch, Portrait Recover

In this tutorial I will show you how to get rid of the unwanted skin problems by the age. You can repair them in photoshop, but not in the real life

First I chose a pair of eyes with an old skin around them, this will change

To start repairing the photo select the Healing Brush tool. Press ALT and select a good part of skin. (Press alt and when you find the right spot, also press the mouse).

Start brushing in the right direction to get a good looking photo. (NOTE: Try different directions when dragging the brush.

[TPSIN] Cool header

Cool header

In this tutorial you will learn how to create a cool looking header for your website.

Create a new document 1000px x 250px

Fill the background (with the paint-bucket) with #acd3e9.

Create a new layer and select the Rounded rectangle tool. Set the radius 15px. Fill it with #3294ca.

Right click on the layer > Blending Options and apply the fallowing options:

Hope you enjoyed this tut.

[TPSIN] Realistic reflection, shadow

Realistic reflection, shadow

Start off by creating a new document higher in pixels than the normal image (the image without shadow). For example:

Normal image size: 350px x 350px

New Document size: 350px x 400px

Create a new layer in the document we just created. In this layer copy the image you want to add shadow.

Create a new layer and copy the same image below the image copied in the step above.

Now open free transform (CTRL + T) and rotate the image 180 degrees.

Right click on the layer with the rotated image and select Blending Options. Go to gradient overlay and use the settings in the following images.

I also added a Hue/Saturation layer to adjust the color.

Hope you liked the tutorial !

[TPSIN] Playing with the Hue/Saturation

Playing with the Hue/Saturation

Hue / Saturation controls the color it’s displayed. From a colored picture you can make one only with pink tones or grey tones.

In this short tutorial I will teach you how to use this function

First of all, open a picture you like. (Or I uploaded one for you!)

Then go “Create new fill or adjustment layer” button near the “New Layer” button.

Select Hue/Saturation

Select Colorize and start dragging the first line for the color, the second for the saturation and the third for lightness.

Not so hard, but you can give the photo a really good aspect

[TPSIN] UserBar

UserBar

Do you like some of the signatures you see on the forums? A lot of them contain ”userbars”. It’s a short image describing a hobby, pleasure etc. of someone.

Stage 1

Let’s start off by creating a new document 350px x 19px

You will need to have a background, let’s select two colors. Select the gradient tool and start dragging the mouse on the image.

Stage 2

Leave the document as it is. NOTE: Do not close the document !

Create a new document 3px x 3px. Now select the pencil tool and draw in the down-left corner, middle pixel and the up-right corner

Now go to Edit > Define Pattern and press OK

RETURN to the document we started. Create a new layer and name it “lines”. Select the paint-bucket tool and from the menu below file, edit, image select pattern and select our recently made pattern > Click on the image.

Now open a logo or something and copy it to a new layer in our document (on the left will be very good)

Create a new layer > Add a text on the right.. I used VISITOR font with a 9pt size

You may also want to add a glow to it. Create a new layer, select the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a selection, fill it with white. Set the layer opacity as you like it.

[TPSIN] Cool twirl effect

Cool twirl effect

Let’s start creating a new document, 600px x 600px with a white background.

Create a new layer. Select the polygonal lasso tool and draw a triangle as I did (1) . Fill it with grey (right click, fill, color, ok, ok). (2)

Deselect everything by pressing CTRL + D

Now go to Filter > Distrot > Twirl and go for the maximum. (3)

Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and go for 3px (4)

This is not so hard to do, but I enjoy very much the result, hope you also.
