Creating a nice green logo
In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice green logo
Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document. Create a new layer and fill it with 292929.
Using the rectangle tool first create a white rectangle then using 838d12 create another rectangle inside our just made one. You should have something like this:
Apply the next settings to the green rectangle:
Using the type tool type a text and apply our style used at the rectangle, you should get this:
Ctrl + Click on the white rectangle (in the layers palette) to make a selection of it. With ellipse marquee tool set to Intersect with selection make a selection over the rectangle and create a new layer and fill it with white. Lower the opacity to 15%. Repeat this to have more and more shiny spots. I made this:
Marge the layers beginning with the white rectangle to our shiny spots into only one layer. Duplicate this layer. Go to Edit > Transform > Flip vertical. Move this second logo down as in the image below:
Apply the next layer settings to the reflection:
Lower the opacity to 34%

i like this tutorial, and i really appreciate the effort you made. but in lots of the step you skip parts which aren't very clear to a novice user. which makes i frustrating later on to complete the drawing.
