In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice hate it design

Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document.

Using the rounder rectangle tool set to a radius of 17px, create a new rectangle as in the image below:

Lower the opacity of the layer down to 53%, apply the next settings to the layer:

You should now have something like this:

CTRL +Click on the shape (in the layers palette), this will make a selection of our rectangle. Create a new layer and fill it with white. Apply the next settings to the white rectangle layer:

You should now have something like this:

CTRL + Click again on the rectangle shape to make a selection of it. Create a new layer and with the foreground color set to white and the background color set to black get the gradient tool and play with it until you get something like this:

Next with the custom shape tool I made a flame with black and a “No symbol” with 99221e as the color.

You should have this:


After this I added the layer settings used before to the rectangle (the drop shadow with an opacity of 75%), you should have something like this (Lower the opacity of the fire shape to 64% and of the No sign to 70%. ):


Create a new layer and with the gradient tool set to black to white mode and radial gradient apply a gradient to a single row selection made using the single row selection tool. I also added some text and a reflection, enjoy!

Creating a multiple coating logo

In this tutorial I will show you a great multiple coating technique for you designs.

Let’s start off by creating a new 450px x 450px document. Using the Rounded rectangle tool I’ve created a rectangle with 4b4949 set as the foreground color. I have deleted a part of it and created a new rectangle with the next color d3df11. You should have something like this:

Apply the next settings:

You should have something like this:

Now the crazy part, the multiple coating. CTRL + Click on the layer we applied the layer settings. This will make a selection of the rectangles. Go to select > modify > expand and chose a value (2px will be ok). Create a new layer and fill it with d3df11. Apply the next settings we used before. Take the eraser tool and start deleting from the coat. You should have something like this:

I added a reflection and a text and I hope you like it:

Creating a nice spade desing

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice design of a spade.

The pattern: To create a pattern we will create a new 3px x 3px new document with a transparent background. Zoom in to 1600% .Using the pencil set to 1px make 3 pixels as in the image below:

Go to edit > define pattern > set the name and press ok

Now let’s create the spade. Create a new document 400px x 400px.

Create a new layer and with the gradient tool set to black to transparent make a gradient from up to down. Reduce the layer opacity to 56%, you should have something like this:
Using the custom shape tool set to spade card and the foreground color set to 484747 create a spade as in the image below:


Apply the next layer styles (right click on the layer > blending options):

You should now have something like this:

Now duplicate the layer 3 times (right click on the layer > duplicate layer). You should now have 1 original spade and another 3 layer containing the same spade. Thos 3 layer we are going to rasterize and flip them vertical. To rasterzite the layer press right click on the layer > rasterize type and to flip it vertical go to Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical.

One of the spade move it as in the image below (set the opacity of the layer to 35%):

Than the second duplicated layer move it as in the image below (the opacity is also 35%):

The last spade move it just below our original made one. Set the opacity to 45%.

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a magician hat.

Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document. Fill the background with ffc600 (To fill the background just set the foreground color to ffc600 and get the paint bucket tool, press on the canvas.)

Now we will create a magician hat, here is how to:

Using the rectangle tool and changing the foreground colors, follow the steps in the image below to create the hat:


Rasterize and marge all the layers so you will have only one layer with the hat. Apply the next settings to the hat:

You should have something like this:


Ctrl + Click on the image of the layer with the hat (in the layers palette). This will make a selection of the hat. With the elliptical marquee tool set to substract from selection make a selection of the right part. Create a new layer and fill it with white. You should have something like this:

Apply the next settings to our layer with the white shine, after this reduce the opacity to 23%:

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice logo from two green circles

Start off by creating a new document 400px x 400px. Fill the background with 727272 (to fill the background get the paint bucket tool and set the foreground color to 727272, press on the canvas to apply the background.)

Set b4ff00 as the foreground color. Using the elliptical tool create two circles (one on top of each other as in the image below):

Apply the next settings to the two circles, to apply the layer styles right click on the layer > blending options:

You should now have something like this:

Using the type tool, type “2 Circles”. Apply the next settings to the text:

Creating a great circle logo with text in it

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice logo

Start off by creating a new document 250px x 150px. Fill the background with #eeeeee.

Set the foreground to black and with the Ellipse tool make a circle as in the image below (after making the circle, rasterize the layer by pressing right click on it > Rasterize type):

With the ellipse marquee tool make a selection inside our circle and press delete. You will have a nice border of a circle like this:

After having a border of a circle we will need 3 borders like the one we just made. Make some copies of the layer until you will have 3 layers for 3 circles. Press CTRL + T and make the circles smaller. Try your creativity and make something like this:

Type in each circle a letter as in the image below:

Marge all the layers with the circles and with the letters into only one layer. Duplicate the layer. On our old layer apply a Gaussian blur of 3.9 (Select the old layer > Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur > 3.9 > OK).

You should have something like this:

The last thing I did it was to drag the edges using the smudge tool.

Creating a unique rounded rectangle orange logo

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice orange logo.

Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document. Create a new layer and fill it with 484747 (to fill it set the foreground color to the color and using the paint bucket tool press on the canvas). This will be our background.

Set the foreground color to ff8400 this will be our base color of the logo. With the rounded rectangle tool make a rectangle with a radius of 17px. Using the ellipse marquee tool make a selection like this and press delete.


This will give or shape a better look.

Rasterize the layer with our shape and press delete (this will delete a small part of our shape). You should have something like this:

Apply the next settings to the layer (Right click on the layer on the layers palette and press blending options):

You should have something like this:

With the type tool I typed TPS (Just an example). Apply the next settings to the text layer:


You should have something like this:

CTRL + Click on the shape layer image (in the layers palette) to make a selection of the logo. With the ellipse marquee tool set to intersect with selection mode make a selection as in the image below:


Fill it with white. Bring the opacity to 15%.

The final result:

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice logo with a flame as the base thing

Create a new document 400px x 400px. Using the paint bucket tool and the foreground color set to 292929 fill the background with that color.

Take the custom shape tool and set it to “Fire”.


Using this color ffba00 (set the foreground color to that color) create a fire shape as in the image below:

Next apply the next settings (Right click on the layer > Blending options):

You should have something like this:

Now for the final stuff, set the foreground color to ffc21d and the background layer to 292929. Using the Gradient tool and the gradient set to foreground to transparent create a gradient beginning from down to up. CTRL + Click on the fire shape to make a selection on it. With the gradient layer still selected press delete to delete a part from it (to delete the gradient standing over the fire). Last thing lower the opacity of the layer to 30%.

The final result:

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice button with a question mark as the base thing.

Start off by creating a 400px x 400px new document.

Create a new document and fill it with #292929 (to fill the background use the paint bucket tool).

Take the type tool and using Segoe UI font set to bold, 249pt and sharp, make a question mark using fd9003 set as the font color.

You should get something like this:

Next, apply the next layer styles by pressing right click on the question mark layer and selecting blending options:

After applying the layer styles you should have something like this:

Type Help area under the question mark and apply the next layer settings:

You should have something like this:


Using the ellipse marquee tool make a selection around the dot from the question mark. Create a new layer and fill it with white. You should have something like this:

In the layers palette bring the opacity to 79% and the fill to 0%. Next apply the settings:

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice green logo

Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document. Create a new layer and fill it with 292929.

Using the rectangle tool first create a white rectangle then using 838d12 create another rectangle inside our just made one. You should have something like this:


Apply the next settings to the green rectangle:

Using the type tool type a text and apply our style used at the rectangle, you should get this:


Ctrl + Click on the white rectangle (in the layers palette) to make a selection of it. With ellipse marquee tool set to Intersect with selection make a selection over the rectangle and create a new layer and fill it with white. Lower the opacity to 15%. Repeat this to have more and more shiny spots. I made this:


Marge the layers beginning with the white rectangle to our shiny spots into only one layer. Duplicate this layer. Go to Edit > Transform > Flip vertical. Move this second logo down as in the image below:

Apply the next layer settings to the reflection:


Lower the opacity to 34%

The result:

Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document. Create a new layer and using the rounded rectangle tool create a rectangle with a radius of 17px and using this color: #d7d4d4.

Using the custom shape tool get the arrow 9 and draw an arrow using this color: #033df7

Apply the next settings to both the layer with the rectangle and the layer with the arrow:


You should now have something like this:


CTRL + Click on the layer with the arrow, this will make a selection of the layer. Using the elliptical marquee tool set to intersect mode make a selection of the upper half of the arrow. Fill the selection with white and reduce the opacity of the layer to 8%.

You should now have something like this:

Type Download now and apply the next settings to the layer:

The last thing we are going to add is a nice glow. To do this CTRL + Click on the rectangle shape (in the layers palette) to make a selection of the rectangle. Using the elliptical marquee tool set to intersect selection make a selection over the rectangle selection and fill it with white. Lower the opacity to 26% and you are done.

Creating a nice custom shaped logo

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a great and unique logo

Start off by creating a new document 400px x 400px. Fill the background with #514e4e. With the rounded rectangle tool set to a radius of 17px and baff00 set as the foreground color, create a rectangle as in the image below:


Apply the next settings:

With the custom shape tool create a shape of your own. Apply the same gradient overlay but only change the opacity of the gradient overlay to 16%.

Using the elliptical marquee tool make a selection like this:


Create a new layer and fill it with white. CTRL + Click on the rectangle shape in our layers palette to make a selection of the rectangle.

Go to select > Inverse and press delete. Reduce the opacity of the layer to 25%. Marge all the layer together so you will have a layer with the background and one with the logo. Duplicate the logo layer and go to Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical. Move the second layer so it becomes like a reflection. Delete from the reflection so you will have ¼ of what you have now (make a selection of the logo and press delete.). Apply the next gradient:


Reduce the opacity of the layer to 14%

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice gaming card.

Start off by creating a new 400px x 400px document.

With white set as the foreground layer create a card using the rounded rectangle tool and rasterize the layer. You will not see anything as the background is white.

CTRL + Click on the layer we just made. This will make a selection of our card. Go to select > modify > expand and chose 1px. Create a new layer and fill it with black. Change the layer order so you will have a nice border. Marge the two layer together so you will have a nice border of the gaming card layer.


Get the custom shape tool and select the Spade card icon. Make 3 spades as in the image below (I also rotated the top one to give it a great look, rotate it by pressing CTRL + T). Rasterize all the layer with the spades and marge them with the layer with the card border. You should now have something like this:

Make a selection as in the image below:

Create a new layer and fill the selection with white. CTRL + Click on the layer image of the border + spades card. Right click on the selection and press select inverse. Return to the layer we just filled with white and press DELETE. Reduce the opacity to 22%.


Marge the layers together. You should now have something like this:

Add those styles to the layer, rotate the card using CTRL + T and you finished.

Start off by creating a 400px x 400px. Create a new layer and fill it with black. Get the ellipse tool and create a circle as in the image below with #3c3b3b set as the foreground color.


Using the same method create a circle inside our last made one using this color: #f0773e


Again create a circle using the next color: #d45d25


Using black create a circle inside:


Using ffb400 create a small last circle in the middle:


Apply the next settings to our last circle.

Start off by creating a new document 400px x 400px. Fill the background with 6699d7. Set b8d5f9 as the foreground layer.

Create a circle with the ellipse tool. Rasterize the layer and get the elliptical selection tool and make a selection inside the circle and press Delete to delete it. You should now have something like this:


Using the ellipse tool and make a circle inside the old one as in the image below:


Using the same technique make some circles as in the image below:


Marge the layers with the circles together and apply the next settings:


Add some text and you have finished:
